If you’re tired after all that walking in the Miracle Mile, find a comfortable spot in The Playing Field at Planet Hollywood. About 75 black and red leather lounge chairs with back pillows are located in the small, dimly lit sports book.
The room features 33 plasma screens, two jumbo screens and a section for VIP. A large bar at the back of the room more than doubles the seating for the sports book. Actually, the bar takes up more than half the space in this area. This is also where you access the book from the casino floor.
There are tiny odds boards at both ends of the main wall in the Playing Field, displaying the money line, point spreads and over/under totals. There’s also a small section in the room for hard copy odds sheets for all the games, including futures betting for major sporting events.
The betting area is small and congested as well. If there’s a lot of traffic, it’s not the easiest room to get around. If it’s a major event like the Super Bowl, Caesars’ top reward card holders are allowed to jump the queue, which slows down the betting line for the average guest.
Planet Hollywood Online Betting
This 2,500-room resort opened under its new name in April 2007. The Playing Field is located at the back of the Planet Hollywood casino and just steps away from all the excitement on the Las Vegas Strip.
Sports bettors line up to wager on the money line, point spread, over/under totals, parlays and futures. Don’t forget to ask for a complimentary drink voucher, which can be redeemed at the bar in the sports book.
If you’re leaving Las Vegas before the conclusion of the event you bet on, guests have 120 days to mail their winning ticket to Planet Hollywood for redemption.
If you would rather jump the queue and make your bets online, there are many options available — like Bovada, TopBet and Betonline.
